Ingredients
- 25ml | 1oz MOTHER ROOT Ginger Switchel
- 20ml | 0.75oz lemon juice
- 10ml | 0.3oz honey water
- Top up with Big Drop Brewing Co. Pine Trail Pale Ale* (alcohol-free)

Pilsner glass or highball
Garnish
Lemon wheel and serve with Makan Fava Beans as a snack
Method
Build the cocktail directly into the glass over ice: first, the MOTHER ROOT non-alcoholic switchel, some lemon juice & honey to sweeten to taste. Top with the delicious alcohol-free & gluten free beer Pine Trail by Big Drop Brewing Co. Stir gently to mix, then garnish with lemon wheel or candied ginger. Served cold with a side of Fava Beans from Makan Snacks for the perfect mindful aperitif!

Their Pine Trail Pale Ale* is one of our favourite, it has the pleasing & refreshing lightness of a lager with a limey citrus bite & a beautiful balanced bitterness on the palate, closer to an IPA.
Makan Fava beans is the perfect snack high in protein & fibre, it’s everything you want from a crisp with everything you need from a plant. Way lower in fat than other roasted nuts, it’s vegan friendly and we love it.
