We teamed up with GHOST as they launched their new fragrance, Orb of Night. This Mindful Cocktail, Flower Mylk Fizz, is inspired by the perfume’s cherry-almond & floral scent, with a touch of Orange Blossom!

Recipe

Ingredients
-
20ml | 0.75oz Mermaid Gin*
- 20ml | 0.75oz Italicus Bergamot* liqueur
- 3 dashes Orange Blossom Water
- 20ml | 0.75oz aquafaba
- 50ml | 2oz almond milk
- 10ml | 0.3oz lemon juice
- 100ml | 4oz Jasmine Sparkling Tea

Technique
Shake

Glass
Highball

Garnish
As it is!

Method
Measure & pour all the ingredients except the Jasmine Sparkling Tea into your shaker. Give it a hard, dry (no ice) shake to start, then add ice for a second round of shaking. Strain your cocktail into the empty glass and top up with the Jasmine tea! Inhale the delicious aromas, and take a sip.

Notes & Favourite Flavours

Mermaid Gin* is a natural gin hand-crafted in the Isle of Wight by Isle of Wight Distillery. They use 10 botanicals, all ethically sourced to make a smooth & fresh gin. It is fresh & citrusy on the nose, with sweet spice and gentle juniper. It has a peppery spice taste and an earthy sweetness, with a hint of sea air from the locally foraged samphire. The finish is long, layered, and complex!

Mermaid is also plastic-free, supports marine conservation projects and Net-Zero; which means their activity has no impact on the climate, as they offset their carbon emissions by supporting the planting of rainforest and seagrass meadows. This product couldn’t be more mindful!

Italicus Bergamot* liqueur has a fresh, floral & aromatic citrus complexity. In the aroma, it has touches of rose & lavender. On the palate notes of citrus, light bitterness & a floral spice. The finish is complex & long-lasting. Italicus excels in bringing a wonderfully refreshing extra dimension of citrus complexity to the glass.

Orange Blossom Water, or orange flower water, is the clear aromatic by-product of the distillation of fresh bitter-orange blossoms for their essential oil. The taste is nuanced, with a subtle orange flavour that’s a bit lighter and more complex than orange extract.


Jasmine Sparkling Tea - ‘Scented with jasmine blossoms, this green tea from Fuding- in Fujian province, China- has a rich creaminess and delicate floral aroma. A distillate of toasted oak adds notes of vanilla and spice.’
